Forever in My Heart

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I thought that I would share some LOVE with you today! I have been playing with the stamp set, Forever in My Heart from Close to My Heart!

Aren't these stamps sweet? And the work with the Art Philosophy CRICUT cartridge!

And you all know how much I love glitter! So this next card I sparkled it up with Shimmer trim!

LOVE YA SILLY!

 This is THE cutest stamp set ever!!! I LOVE it!! I just think the sentiments are perfect!

I didn't want to showcase the obvious, Valentines, so I decided to create some sweet layouts using these little devils! Using the Heartstrings paper pack and some coordinating cardstock, I was able to create two adorable layouts! For this one, I used cranberry, black and lagoon for my favorite lil boy monster!!

I gave them some personality using google eyes!! Love them!!

And for my sweet lil girl monsters, I used hollyhock, lagoon and slate to soften it up a bit!

Embellishment 101

I have been wanting to make fabulous, professional looking embellishments for quite some time now. And after perusing the Seasonal Expressions catalog from Close to My Heart, I noticed a set of ADORABLE embellishments! I thought to myself, I could make those! And today I decided that it was time to stop procrastinating and DO!! So I did!!!

And now I am going to show you how easy it is!! I have decided to prepare a class in making your own embellishments! I will be offering this class at the February workshop and at the Winter retreat. The class will be $10. You will get all the supplies to create all 6 of these adorable embellishments. These professional looking embellishments will be a beautiful addition to your scrapbook layouts or adorning your handmade cards!

 Hopscotch is one of the new paper lines found in the Close to My Heart Seasonal Expressions catalog. And it is fresh and FUN! As January can be a bit drab and dreary for those of us that are not fans of winter, I decided to brighten things up a bit!! We will be playing with the Hopscotch papers and FLIP FLAPS!!! For those of you that have never used a FLIP FLAP, you are going to LOVE them!!

This layout, "FUN DAY", accents the bright and bold colors in this paper pack. 

You will do some embossing with the CHEVRON embossing folder.

 

You will add FLIP FLAPS to create additional photo space without taking away from your creative design!

Then we will shift to the softer side of this gorgeous paper pack!

SCRAPBOOK CLUB for KIDS

Happy New Year Scrapbook Friends!!


I am so excited to be offering a NEW club just for kids!!! I have so much FUN scrapbooking with my grandkids, nieces and nephews (and many of your kids) that I decided to start the kids club! I have decided to start by offering classes one day a month. Should there be an overwhelming response, I will adjust the number of classes offered. Class size will be limited to 4 children per class. Should you have a group of 4 that want to scrap together and need a different date/time, please let me know! I will attempt to accommodate the group.
Details can be found on the KIDS CLUB tab. There is a registration form there as well. I think this is going to be a lot of FUN for your kids!! And for me!!
