Snow Much Fun

Good morning Scrapbook Friends!
I have completed the next project kit!!! I know Christmas is coming, and I promise we will have some gorgeous Christmas pages, but I had fun ideas in mind for this paper pack and couldn't wait! So, we will be working with the Snowhaven paper pack this time!! This is an adorable paper pack! And I absolutely LOVE the "Flakey Friends" stamp set that I chose to go with this project!
You all know how much I love my pages to sparkle! And with this project you will learn to create a beautiful, glittery background paper for your layout!

Our "Flakey Friends" come out to play in this next layout! I love snowmen and these guys are ADORABLE!

This sweet snowflake border glistens! And it is really easy to do!!!

These layouts are going to be great for all those FUN outdoor winter activities!!

As always, I have assembled several different kits for you to choose from. Regardless of the kit you choose, you will be able to complete the layouts. Your layouts may vary slightly depending on which kit you choose! If you are completing these as part of a class, all stamping and techniques will be done in the beginning so that you all have access to stamps and inks. Should you like to order the layouts to complete at home, you may order the kit with all pre-cut, pre-stamped pieces to assemble at home. Order you kits below!

Playing with Christmas Stamps

I am not ready to start thinking about Christmas, but I have been very busy creating Christmas cards and gift ideas to share with all of you! There is something extra special when you receive a handmade card or gift!
So, here are a couple of really sweet Christmas card ideas to get you going!!!
These cards were made using the "Christmas Post" stamp set! I love the vintage feel you get with this set.

This is my favorite!!! I love the simplicity of it! I used an embossing folder to make the base, and a bit of shimmer trim to add some sparkle!

Inspired by a sister consultant, Angela Fehr, I created this sweet Christmas card. I LOVE this card! I used brown StazOn ink and clear embossing powder to stamp the girl. I love the effect it created!

Be Jolly

I am starting to play with all my new Close to my Heart Christmas stamps! And I must say, I have a lot! But, considering that is only October and we haven't even celebrated Halloween yet, I was struggling to create Christmas ideas. So, like many crafters I headed to the internet and my fellow consultants pages in search of some inspiration. 

This little gem was created following a fellow consultants post. And I have to apologize, I can't give her credit as I can't remember which blog I found it on! But, using a little washi tape, some metallic twine and a few gems, along with this cute little sentiment from "Be Jolly", we have success!

And that was easy so....onto the next project.

 I chose another sentiment from the same stamp set, pondered a moment and viola! Snow...snowflakes, some Snowhaven paper, a bit of glitter and we have created a sweet card! I just wish the pictures did the actual artwork justice!

And this was it for the evening. A sweet snowflake embossing folder, a bit of white daisy ink and a touch of glitter created the perfect background for this card!

Full of Thanks

I am so blessed to be retired and home doing what I love!
Here is a card that I made tonight using a sketch from one of Close to my Hearts How To Publications titled "Originals". You create your card using the sketch and cutting diagram provided.

The paper and stamp used here are from the Pathfinding Cardmaking Kit. I added a bit of depth using some brown glitter paper and made some pretty fall leaves to embellish with. 

FUN! And I will be entering this card in our team Monday Mojo contest!!

Monogram Gift Set

Good evening Scrapbook Friends! Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful fall day! I have been busy in my scrap room again today! I have a beautiful set of monogram note cards in a coordinating gift box to share with you today.

The decorative box holds 6 note cards and envelopes. The acetate cover (which is very hard to see here) adds a professional, finished look.

The embossing and glitter trim add a touch of elegance to these cards.

SPECIAL DAYS TO REMEMBER ROLODEX PROJECT

Hello Scrapbook Friends!
If you are anything like me, you have a horrible time remembering all the birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates of family members and friends. Well, I have a simple, decorative solution to that problem! I am delighted to be sharing my "Special Days to Remember" Rolodex project with all of you! I have taken an ordinary Rolodex and transformed it into a beautiful, perpetual calendar!

Here are a few peeks at some of the months! I LOVE them all!!

For your convenience, I have created easy to assemble project kits! Each kit contains a Rolodex, precut cards and pieces, as well as all the embellishments to decorate your calendar. Inks, stamps and markers will be provided at the class. You will need to bring your adhesive. 

I used several different stamping techniques to create this project. And you will learn them all!!

The price of this kit is $35. However, if you are attending the Fall Retreat and you would like to participate in the group project, your cost is $30! 

I know you are going to LOVE it! Pictures never seem to do the projects justice! The colors are always more vibrant, and you can really appreciate the texture and sparkle when you can see and touch it!!
