New Scrap Room is Ready!!

The new Scrap Room is finally ready!! Thanks to my daughter Meghan and her boyfriend, we were able to get everything moved, built and put away! I just purchased another table (not shown) to complete the work space. I am more than pleased!

Stamping Station!! The highlight here is the the wonderful storage unit my dad built for my inks, markers and refills! More on that to follow as he is taking orders for these!!!

This part of the space houses the computer and printer! And my office!!! Everything at my fingertips!!

And here we have our work space. Unfortunately I took the picture prior to addition of the extra table but there is ample space for several of us to work together! I even have the mini workstation in here for my grand daughters!!

I will soon be hosting classes here so check back frequently as the schedule will be posted soon. I intend to offer a CRICUT class, a Tools and Techniques class, and a card making class. My mind is full of great ideas! There will also be open crops starting soon on Fridays!!

I can't wait to share inspiration, creativity and friendship with you in my new space!!!

Help make a child's WISH come true!!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer!!! Ours was very busy! We purchased a summer camp on Lake Ontario and started making some wonderful family memories there! I just love the peace that I feel being on the water! As one might expect, I took hundreds of pictures! And it is time to get busy documenting all the events of this summer!
Our first workshop for the 2012-2013 Scrapbook Season will be September 22 at the West Windsor fire hall! It is an all day event, and you are invited to come for a part of, or the entire day, whatever fits into your schedule. I have missed our time together and am very excited to share new products and some new ideas!!
This month is WISH MONTH! And we will be raising funds for Make-a-Wish - the nation's largest wish-granting organization, giving hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Creative Memories, in partnership with the Make-a Wish foundation, have created a new line of Dream products. For each Dream product purchased, a donation will be made to Make-a-Wish. You may also purchase Wish dollars. Through the purchase of a Creative Memories Wish Dollar, you can help grant wishes. 100% of the funds raised will benefit Make-a-Wish. For more information about Make-a-Wish visit www.wish.org . I hope you will join me in supporting this wonderful fund raising event!

Creative Memories and Cricut...a Match made in Heaven!!

Tonight I would love to share with you the perfect relationship! It is truely a match made in heaven!! CREATIVE MEMORIES and CRICUT! That's right!! They are an amazing team! And I spent the weekend creating this display board (thanks to the great idea from Debbie at our Unit meeting) to share at my workshops with all of you, so that you might become as excited as I am! And to think that I never really wanted a CRICUT!!! This might be the only time you hear me say this..but, Dianne (my youngest sister), you were right! It is a wonderful product and I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to share, and sell their products! The CRICUT is a great way to embellish your scrapbook pages...and you get to pick the size, the shape and the paper you want to co-ordinate your project!

Cricut has currently designed 7 cartridges exclusively for Creative Memories. And these can only be purchased from a creative memories consultant. And how lucky are you...I am a Creative Memories Consultant!!

This is artwork from the Cheerful Seasons cartridge!! So fun!!!

A few from THIS & THAT...

And...STORK'S DELIVERY!

This was so much fun!! I can't wait to incorporate this artwork into my scrapbooks! Join us at a workshop and share the FUN!!! Happy Scrapping my friends!!!

Craft Ideas for All Ages!

Last month a friend had called me asking for a little help creating a scrapbook page for her friend's birthday party. They had each been given the task to find a photo with themselves and the "birthday girl", and then make a page that was to go into a scrapbook made special for her birthday. That is a FABULOUS idea!!  What a great gift! Anyway, she came to the house with her 2 daughters and we spent a couple hours in the scrapbook room. She completed her page, and then the girls wanted to play! Maya made an explosion purse and a couple of flowers. Anna cut and folded, glued and folded more! She made the most adorable animals just folding paper!
As they were planning to leave, Maya and her mom had the brilliant idea to share these great projects at her birthday party! She was certain that her friends would love it!! So, purses, locker magnets and covered notebooks were on the agenda.

The girls selected the paper for their purses and notebook, and the locker magnets I had pre-cut for easy  assembly. They had a great time and I was impressed with their creativity!

They each made a notebook, a purse and 3 magnets! I loved the results!

The girls with their completed projects!
They are AWESOME!!

Love these!!

And since little sister Anna wasn't able to participate while the other girls were crafting, we had a private purse party afterward! She is so cute! Love her!!

Thank you inviting me to do your party Maya!! I had a great time with you and your friends!!
I look forward to crafting with you again very soon!!
