Happy New Year Scrapbook Friends!!

I am so excited to start sharing all that is NEW here at Scrapbook Friends!! Today I am going to talk about PAGE KITS!! I have decided to start offering monthly page kits here on the blog! Each month, I create a series of precut page kits for all of my scrapbook clubs. And, I have decided that I will begin sharing them with you as well!!
At the beginning of each month, I will post all the kit information including photos of each layout and the kit options with prices. There will be a PAYPAL link at the bottom where you will place your order. This is a new venture for me, so bear with me as I work out all the kinks!!
So are you ready? Introducing my first page kit....

                                               FUNdamentals Scrapbook Kit

With each kit you will be creating a set of 8 two page layouts using the Rustic Home fundamentals, Memo fundamentals and the Uptown fundamentals. I have wanted to play with these since they were released in July!!
You will have 2 kit options. Both kits will have all the supplies necessary to create the layouts as shown.
Kit 1 will include 8 two-page precut kits featuring the 3 basic fundamental papers, You & Me complements, All Together complements, Uptown Ribbon pack, and the Rustic Home Ribbon pack. The price for this kit is $99.80 (plus $6 shipping)
Kit 2 will contain 8 precut page kits featuring the 3 basic fundamental papers, You & Me complements, All Together complements and ribbon pieces necessary to complete the project. The price for this kit is $80.68 (plus $6 shipping).

Kit 1 includes 6 FULL spools of ribbon! This is a great option if you want to build your embellishment stash!

I have FALLen in love with Swan Lake!!

What are your favorite FALL activities?

Fall is a great time for outdoor FUN with family!! When my children were younger we used to love to go the Pumpkin Farm, run through Corn Mazes and go Apple Picking!! And now, they are sharing these family traditions with their children!!

Here is a beautiful layout I created using the SWAN LAKE paper palette to document some of the FUN fall activities my kids will share!

Do you LOVE the vibrant colors of FALL?

Good morning Scrapbook Friends!!

Do you LOVE fall as much as I do? I love everything about it! I love the sunny days and cool temperatures. I love the change of scenery...bright greens to golden yellow, red and orange! I love turning my oven on and baking sweet apple crisp!! AND I love the fact that I start spending a lot more time in my scrapbooking room!!

To celebrate the vibrant fall season, I will be featuring the SWAN LAKE paper collection during the month of October!! This collection is filled with many of the bright and bold colors of fall...canary, fern, goldrush, peacock and poppy to name a few! The contrast of soft and bold patterns is great for creating stunning artwork!!

There are beautiful embellishments to coordinate with this paper collection!!

And, as always, the incredible artists at Close to My Heart have created a series of beautiful layouts and cards in the Workshop Your Way!! What does that mean for you and I? It means that we can create multiple layouts with the materials provided in the Workshop Your Way kit. JEEPERS CREEPERS this paper goes a long way!!

Good Morning Scrapbook Friends!!

I wanted to share with all of you the September Workshop I have created for my clubs. I chose the JEEPERS CREEPERS paper collection this month, along with the Sugar Skull stamp set, this and THAT stamp set and the NEW Marker Alphabet stamp set.

We also used Watercolor Paints and the NEW glitter brush! This workshop created 6 two page layouts!!!
I began with the Jeepers Creepers Workshop Your Way!! Three adorable layouts with bonus Pocket Pages!!

Once I completed these pages, I had so much paper left over that I added a few sheets of cardstock and created 3 more layouts!

Thinking OUTSIDE the box!!

How many of you look at Halloween, Christmas, Easter or other themed papers and think you can only design themed layouts with those papers, stamps and embellishments? You look in the catalog and see the beautiful themed artwork and automatically decide you have no use for that paper!

I am here to say STOP!!

I want you to start by looking at the paper...not the artwork! I want you to see the beautiful color palette, the unique designs on each piece of paper.

 

When I look at this paper, I see vibrant purple, gold, and blue contrasting with white, black and gray. I see lots of creative possibility!! I see a "little monster" birthday,   a "starry night" campout. I see the "very hungry caterpillar"!

If I were to look only at the artwork featured in the catalog, all I would envision is Halloween!

This is true for stamps too!! Look at the Sugar Skull stamp set! Front and center, there is Happy Halloween!  Do you even notice the adorable flowers? Can you even begin to envision the gorgeous border you could make?

I want to show you!! I took the JEEPERS CREEPERS Halloween themed paper from the Holiday Expressions catalog and the Sugar Skull stamp set, and used them to create a bright and beautiful non-Halloween layout! I used the flower spray to create the border along the top of my layout and the other flowers to add embellishments.

I shared this layout on the blog a few days ago, but this was created using the JEEPERS CREEPERS paper and embellishments too! No Halloween here!

Now I want you to try and think outside the box!! Let's see what you can come up with!!
