I am so excited to share my May Scrapbooking Kit with you! To celebrate National Scrapbooking month Close to My Heart created the most AMAZING paper collection for us, The World is Yours! You are going to LOVE it!!

I created 5- two page layouts with this collection. AND there are two Cut Above layouts as part of the bundle created by Close to My Heart!! Incredible!! Here are all the layouts...

There are several different kit options available to you. All kits come PRECUT and PRESTAMPED for your convenience. Precut kits may be ordered now through May 8th. I anticipate mailing all kits by Monday, May 20th. My son is getting married in Florida on the 5th so I will be celebrating!!

The Bundle with stamp includes all precut/prestamped pieces to create the 5-two page layouts designed by me, the two Cut Above layouts, the Stamp set, Gold glitter gems, Wood Shapes and a roll of burlap ribbon.

The Bundle with out stamp set includes all items listed above MINUS the stamp set.

AND..the final option are the 5 layouts designed by me. This kit includes all the preut/prestamped materials to create my 5 layouts, a package of gold glitter gems, package of wooden shapes and a roll of burlap ribbon.

I was so excited to open this box containing my latest Close to My Heart order!! Why? Because it contained the newest product bundle, Made with Love!! Oh my gosh!! The wood album cover is so awesome!! This is a brand new product being made here at Close to My Heart!!

This album is perfect to document a specia relationship...maybe MOM (Mother's Day is reight around the corner)! Or to create a sweet mini album of one of your favorite memories!!

I am going to use this one to create a special story about my mom and I!! I know she will love it!!

What's a Scrapbook Retreat?

Hello crafty friends!!

As I start preparing for my Spring Retreat I can't help but start to feel a bit giddy! There is much to do but the excitement is wonderful motivation!! For those of you that have never attended a retreat, let me take you to one!!

First, they are called "Scrapbook Retreats", but that honestly is a bit misleading. You will understand that in a minute. Scrap camp is a place to go to work on your scrapbooks right?

Well, yes! And no!

You pack all your crafty supplies, some comfy clothes and load your car leaving just enough room for yourself in the drivers seat!

And you head to your Happy Place. 

Here you will have a comfortable place to lay your head at night, have all your meals prepared for you and have more than enough space to "craft"! You might indulge yourself in a massage or have a pedicure. You might take a yoga class or have a REIKI treatment! You might just RELAX! What?!!

These retreat weekends are for scrapbooking. Or for card making. Or for Quilting.  For your favorite anything!

 There is a store set up on the off chance you didn't have room in your car for that extra tape runner refill!!

But these weekends are so much more!!

They are FRIENDSHIPS....old and new!!

       

The relationships that are made here are forever. You see, we share more than our love for crafting. We share struggles, we share joy, we share loss. We share LOVE!!

We share a Sisterhood!

These weekends are about sharing and trying new things!

These weekends are about eating too much!! They are about singing and dancing! They are about being silly! They are about crying and then laughing so hard that you wet your pants!! 

They are about staying up so late that you will lay where you land! 

They are about celebrating each other! Our accomplishments, our special moments in life!

I know life can be crazy and busy and frustrating! I know it is hard to leave your family and your obligations and to justify time to yourself. I know that struggle is real! But, I have learned that if we don't take care of ourselves, we can't effectively take care of anyone else!

Following a retreat weekend,I had a friend tell me that she went home from the retreat and her husband actually asked her, "what do you do at the reteats? Because whatever it is, you need to do it again!"

She had come home refreshed, relaxed and happy! 

So...I encourage you to grab a friend and JOIN our SISTERHOOD!

As these retreats are about LOVE!! 

They are about sharing your CREATIVITY, your INSPIRATION and your FRIENDSHIP!
