Calling all scrap bookers!!
As you know, I am always looking for new project ideas to share with all of you. I found several great ideas today. Creative Memories is doing a “photo a day” project. I also found a project on the website called “Rich Relationships”. Both great ideas! And as I was reading an article tonight by Deepak Chopra and Oprah about living a grateful life, a wonderful idea came to me. What if we spent this year reflecting and documenting all of the things in our lives that we are grateful for? In the article, both Oprah and Chopra agree that cultivating gratitude improves our emotional and physical health. They state that those who have a “grateful outlook on life get sick less often, exercise more, sleep better and have more energy.” They also say that by focusing on what’s good and giving you energy, you attract abundance. So, that being said, here’s my idea!!
We are going to create an album called………
a life full of GRATITUDE
The object is to photograph something, or someone, that you are grateful for each day (or several times a month…remember this is supposed to be a positive thing, not a stressful one). We will meet as a group once a month (either at our workshop, or my home, or your home) where we will scrap book and journal those photos. Through journaling, we will give our photos power of the written word. The idea is to compile a year filled with everyday blessings that we can share with our family and friends.
My thought is to use the Nancy O’Dell Gratitude 12x12 Coverset for this project. There is a Gratitude paper pack, embellishment pack, and title stickers as well.
